Legalism during the Qin Dynasty
During the Qin Dynasty there no real form of religion but there was a belief system called legalism. Legalism was the practice created by Sun Tzu who was a Chinese general and also wrote "The Art of War". His principles were focused on large amounts of law enforcement and harsh punishment the people who broke the rules, but the people who followed the rules were often rewarded by either by the enforcers or the leader. Having a legalistic society also decreased the amount of crimes in the tipi mess such as the Qin Dynasty because people were often punished in front of a large crowd. The purpose of this was so people would not be intrigued to do crimes like the people who were punished. After the Qin Dynasty legalism actually became slowly fade away as the other dynasties realized what a harsh practice it was
